UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

CONSIDER THIS...
EGO - Edging God Out!

---What is Unconditional Love? It is Love with no conditions. You are Loved as you are. There is Nothing one has to do to ''earn'' this Love. One is simply Loved as he or she is. One can even say, one is Accepted and Acceptable, because one is. This is a true statement and doesn't take anything into account, as that would be a condition. Everything I have written is A FACT. One doesn't need an accompanying FEELING for this to be TRUE.

---This kind of Love is attributed to God or something that does not judge you. It is the kind of Love that Loves you and who you are and sees what you may have done as something you are working on [the details if you will].

---We ALL fall into this category, and are Loved Unconditonally. We are always Loved Unconditionally. Everyone else is Loved Unconditionally. There is no one that falls outside of this. That is the way it is. Here is the ''rub.'' We can ''feel'' we are outside of this Love.

LOVE SHINES

---As an analogy, to make this clear, we will think of the Sun shining. It is a sunny day. Now we can choose to be in the sunshine or not. We can go behind a tree, go inside, etc. Somewhere the sun is not shining. We can get out of the sunshine.

---It is the same with Love. We can be where the Love is or go to places where we can not see the Love shine. It must be noted here that the Love, like the sun, may be shining, but we have ''CHOSEN'' not to be in it. We also CANNOT ''BLAME'' the sun for not giving us a tan if we are not in it. If we spend our time in the shade, we cut down on the amount of the sun we experience. We must also understand that the Love shines everywhere, it is us who can or cannot see ''IT'' in All situations and circumstances. Learning the ways of Love reaps benefits.

---Many of us seem to have given this Unconditional Love some kind of personality that we have projected on ''IT'' and then we think ''IT'' doesn't Love us or even Like us very much. This is not True. It is ALL About LOVE. I think we have to learn to de-personalitize this Unconditional Love for us to see It in All its Glory. I read somewhere,''get to Know Yourself and you will get to know what God is All about.''. I find that the more I understand myself, the easier it is to see the difference between the Ego and your real self. E-dging G-od O-ut. Be Well.

GETTING OTHERS INTERESTED
IN THE COMPUTER

---There is not much that I enjoy doing more than showing off the computer. I find I really like letting someone know of the wonderful things that one is able to do on the computer. And I would like to say at the outset that is I am not talking about being that involved with how they work. I am much more about doing things that I enjoy using the computer to make that experience happen.

---I like the fact that so much music is on there. It is difficult to find an artist or song NOT on YouTube. I have never witnessed anyone name a song that couldn’t be found on YouTube. It is a great joy to be there when you are in the company of someone who realizes how plentiful YouTube is and they can now, with the purchase of a computer…participate.

---The internet is so vast and has everything that you may want. You can think of almost anything and there is a version of it on the internet.

---Not only does it take care of entertainment needs in anyway at all, but it allows one room to use the computer as a tool or avenue to develop what you want and to display it if you wish. As I said…It then gives a bunch of tools you can use for your own purposes - TO HELP YOU GET IT OUT.

WHAT THE COMPUTER MEANS TO ME!

---I did NOT have much to do at the hospital, before I got my computer. I had a stroke and it was

accompanied by a movement disorder. I now have double-vision, my right-arm and fingers are involved in a constant movement that makes them unusable [I can’t hold a pen…hence, write my name, etc.] and my balance is affected so standing or walking is NOT part of my repertoire. I was born missing all four fingers on my left-hand. I am able to type with the thumb of my left-hand.

---The computer allows me to write, again, by providing the typing situation that it does. I write for the hospital newsletter. I am also able to logically think through keeping this skill honed. I have assorted web logs and YouTubes. The internet being as vast as it is allows me to stay current with what is happening. There is a great array of documentaries, discussions and lectures that happen to spark my interest.
---I could rave about the benefits of the computer, but the main thing that I see is that it has, for all intents and purposes, EVERYTHING…once a few fundamentals are learned. I see the Personal Computer as a wonderful tool to ‘’oil-up’’ the creative processes…that we ALL have. They only need to be coaxed from those dealing with different health issues, sometimes.
---What I’m saying here is that the PC can be a great distracter while one heals, but can also become ones main instrument that connects him to the outside world. On those times that our hospital wifi is not working…I can still get to music and things that I have created myself all credited to my interactions with the computer.
---I would like others to share in this richness of experience that can easily be there’s with a few teachings on how to maneuver their way around the computer/internet situation.
---I am aware that there are many who haven’t entered the world of computers. If you can read a roadmap and/or follow a few simple instructions…you can work a computer. The key as I see it seems to be upfront with things that you enjoy and to find where they are on the computer. It exists, you may have to search a bit, but it is probably on there. Remember…there is only ONE INTERNET (that anyone NEW has to worry about)…and mostly anything you can think of is on there. Chances are that it can spark your interest. Staying in touch with family and friends is a very therapeutic circumstance - that is easily done via the internet. Thank you.
